MILITARY VETERANS FOR FIELD SERVICE:

We are seeking talented technical specialists who are interested in joining a nationwide Medical Systems Integration company, offering field service, equipment installation and construction services. LOCATION:

Must live anywhere near a major airport. Must be willing to travel for 1-3 weeks at a time. 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • On-site customer installation, field service support, remote technical support, hardware and software configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for all products. 
  • Provide world class customer service by taking a proactive approach to the customer needs and expectations.
  • Take ownership of the success of the territory by utilizing preventative maintenance planning, training and follow up for all customers and equipment within assigned region.
  • Responsible for on-site service, repair or troubleshooting of state of the art equipment such as access controls, video monitoring, nurse call systems and related technologies.
  • Read and interpret schematics and electrical diagrams through to the component level.
  • Video monitoring and teleconferences, video switching and routing equipment, network switching and CCTV camera systems.
  • Provide renovation and construction services involving ceiling support systems, anchoring medical devices, facilities maintenance and general construction.  
  • Isolate the system fault for electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Document and provide reports of parts, service or repairs. 
  • Complete billing or warranty documentation as needed.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Wiring, Cable Slicing, Fiber Optics, Routing, Construction, Electrical and Commercial Wiring, RF Communications troubleshooting, Medical Image Scaling preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a background check, Secret Clearance-nice to have
  • Must be self-motivated, have a strong desire to work autonomously and must be willing to travel on a regular basis, including nationwide customer locations, up to 90% travel.
  • Ability to approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm and innovation with strong client service attitude. 

 

TRAINING & EDUCATION:

  • Military technical training or Associate's degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical or other related field.
  • Military training in the following fields desired; Biomedical, Electro-Mechanical, Avionics, Electronics, Fire Control, Nuclear, Computer/IT, Electrical/Electrician. Schools from the Navy, Marines, Air Force, Army, Coast Guard.
  • 4-20 years engineering technician/ military service experience
  • Prefer candidates with the following Military accomplishments:
    • Honorable Discharge, Good Conduct
    • Proven top performer with achievements and success in your occupation
    • Meritorious Promotions, NCO of the quarter/year or any other Command recognition or awards for superior performance
    • Progression in career, promoted ahead of peers
    • On-going or advanced education with certificates or completed degrees

 

COMPENSATION: Competitive hourly base pay --Lots of overtime, all expenses paid, daily per diem, full benefits
